A floor-length black velvet opera coat from the late 1960s, dressmaker made with real care. A high stand collar, a fitted empire bodice fastened by three sparkling rhinestone cluster buttons, and a deep back pleat that sweeps out into a full, dramatic hem. It moves beautifully and makes an entrance every time.

Condition: Very good vintage condition. The lower sleeves have a crushed, crinkled texture in the velvet pile, and faint pressure marks from steaming show in bright daylight. Neither is noticeable in normal indoor light.
