Ivory lace over a warm nude lining, made for a garden party, a rehearsal dinner or a courthouse wedding. This 1960s two-piece pairs a sleeveless shell with a scalloped lace peplum and a slim pencil skirt with a deep lace border at the hem. The open netted lace is scattered with little daisies, and the borders are worked in heavier lace with raised dots and scalloped, lash-fringed edges.
The top is finished with an ivory grosgrain sash and a silk flower with stamen center. The sash was likely added by a previous owner and is held with a few light stitches, so it can be removed easily if you prefer a cleaner line.
