Hot pink and tangerine, cut in soft 100% wool and blocked together like a painting. This 1980s Merle Chicago set pairs a sculptural draped coat with a matching skirt. The coat has a deep shawl collar that falls into cascading waterfall fronts, big dolman sleeves that switch from orange at the shoulder to pink at the forearm, and raw-edge finishes that let the wool do the talking.

The wrap-front skirt picks up the same color play, with sweeping curved panels of orange and pink, an orange waistband and a big round button. Wear them together for the full effect, or throw the coat over black for instant drama.

Condition: Great vintage condition. The coat has very minimal moth grazing on the surface of the wool, including a small spot on the orange back (shown in the last photo). There are no holes. Please see photos.
